Represetative Oye
Dr. Oye Owolewa has served as the U.S. Representative for the District of Columbia since 2021 and is the first Nigerian-American on the New Columbia Statehood Commission. A licensed pharmacist with a doctorate from Northeastern University, he also served as an Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner in Ward 8, where he championed science programs, traffic safety, and senior services. Dedicated to education and community service, Rep. Owolewa continues to inspire local students while advocating for D.C. statehood and full representation.
